Eugene “Onio” Punzal is a Cultural Weaving Practitioner at the Kauai Museum and has been a volunteer at the museum for over 10 years, since he retired. Along with Kanani Kaye and Noe Mahi, or the Ulana Ohana, they hold weekly cultural weaving classes that consist of basic Coconut, Lauhala, and Ti Leaf Weaving each Wednesday 1-3 pm at the Kauai Museum.
Experience the Kauaʻi Aloha, and join Uncle Onio, Kanani and Noe for a 2 hour class making a Coconut Pāpale 2:30-4:30 pm on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
